The rank of Group Leader (O6) is the commissioned officer rank in the Imperial Army COACC.

Description (Specifications)

The rank of Group Leader (O6) is the commissioned officer rank in the Imperial Army COACC that is in command of a group of Spaceships, or commander of a Group of 2-5 Wings or ground elements or has duties of similar importance. When the rank is used for Staff positions, the term Staff Colonel is used instead.

Typically, each Imperial Corps deployed will include or be assigned one Group for close air-support roles.

The equivalent rank in the Imperial Navy is Commodore.

The equivalent rank in the Imperial Marines is Colonel.

The equivalent rank in the Imperial Army GFC is Colonel.
