A Green Zone is a safe zone and remains the default settings for IISS star charts.

Description (Specifications)

Are Green Zones really safe? Most are, but certainly not all of them are. Some are simply misidentified and should be redesignated. Others have changed since last being surveyed. And even others might have intentionally been misidentified to hide secrets...

What is for sure is that a Green Zone is almost invariably safer than an amber or red zone...
