Imperial titular designation of the heir to the Iridium Throne. Under Imperial custom, the eldest son or daughter of the Emperor becomes heir to the throne at the age of 12. Elaborate ceremonies confer the title of Grand Prince (or Grand Princess) on the heir and proclaim the information to the Imperium.
