Gonzo is a barren hellworld, which would challenge the survival of nearly any sophont in Charted Space if it weren't already barren.

  • As a barren world, it has no overt population, government, or law level.
  • Hellworlds often offer daily, and sometimes hourly, life-threatening situations to their inhabitants.
  • This world could probably be populated by very determined colonists if any had an inclination to do so...
  • It is a Non-Aligned world in the Spinward Drift Subsector of Beyond Sector.

Native Lifeforms[edit]

Despite its extreme environment, Gonzo has native life. The most notable lifeforms are fast growing organisms similar to slime moulds; many of these corrode metal.

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]

Gonzo was named for its highly eccentric orbit.

The last known visit to this system was a cursory investigation for the Imperial Second Survey. No-one has expressed interest in this system, so far as is known.

World Starport[edit]

Gonzo has a Class E Starport, a frontier quality installation with few expected amenities. There is unrefined fuel for starships and a limited variety of ship provisions. There is no shipyard of any kind, but there may be parts and technical support for doing minor services and repair. Ports of this classification generally consist of a downport.
