Golden Age Starships 8 Armed Free Trader HERO Edition is a complete game supplement for the Traveller role-playing game.
- Full stats are included for the Hero system with all Hero files, but this rules-light supplement is suitable for use with any version of Traveller, or indeed with other rules sets.
- This supplement has a campaign outline set in the Five Sisters Subsector of the Spinward Marches, but the material in the campaign could be set anywhere in the Traveller Universe.
Description (Specifications)[edit]
This supplement details the 200 ton Armed Free Trader, a common variant of the ubiquitous Jump-1 Free Trader, and can be found throughout the frontier regions of Charted Space. The armed free trader is fitted with two double turrets and a wide variety of weaponry.
This is an ideal ship for characters to use - and try to pay off. This supplement includes a section on running an armed free trader at a profit, and simplifies book-keeping by presenting common scenarios for running an armed free trader. The final section presents the background details for an armed free trader campaign set in the Five Sisters Subsector of the Spinward Marches.
