Physiology
The Gl'lu are a hermaphroditic species sporting four arms and three legs on their stout bodies. Crowning their heads are three eye stalks. Oxidation of the ammonia in the air drives their metabolism.
Their planet circles at the outer edge of the star’s habitable zone, giving them average temperatures of -40°C. A dense nitrogen atmosphere hides ammonia seas and geologically active terrain.
