Gimgir Subsector borders a significant rift which borders the Julian Protectorate and the Vargr Extents.

Description (Specifications)

It's an area with a very high density of stars and a very old population of sophonts.

  • The Azhanti were very influential within the sector after the adoption of FTL starcraft in the region and their philosophies, mercenary units, traders, and the like are ubiquitous throughout the region.
  • The proximity to the Julians and the Extents Vargr have made the maintenance of a significant naval fleet a necessity. Corsair Vessels are known to swoop in from non-aligned space for raids and piracy. Strong patrols frequent most well trafficked star lanes.
  • The Gimgir Subsector is defended by 156th Fleet.
