Era: New Era

Former Imperial megacorporation that survives in the Regency and the Spinward States. GP was primarily a manufacturer of starships, transportation machinery and manufacturing equipment. Slipshod management and shortsighted austerity measures resulted in a dramatic lowering of the company's product quality and reliability late in the Antebellum period, a matter that came to a head with the Kinunir fiasco. The company has managed to solve its difficulties since the Collapse, but its reputation still suffers. The company is an active partner with Delgado Trading in the General Mechanics joint venture firm.
