The Gamma Haden class Liner is a commercial transport.
- It is a civilian ship and a Liner.
- Please also see: Ships of the Distant Fringe.
Description (Specifications)
Gamma Haden class Liner, this class has been in service for a long time and has undergone numerous updates and upgrades. The visually very similar Hyperion class Escort Carrier was based on an earlier version of this design. It is a streamlined cone capable of ocean wilderness refueling. It is capable of landing strip arrival with its aerodynamic control surfaces, reaction jets and anti-gravity units providing VTOL abilities if needed.
There are 51 staterooms, and the crew includes a pilot, navigator, 4 engineers, 4 stewards, and ship's medic. There are 27 high passengers berths, and room for 13 middle passengers and space for 20 low passengers. This doesn't include the 6 emergency low berths.
