History & Background (Dossier)

QuikLink Interactive was founded in 2001 CE by Hunter Gordon to produce and sell Generic Role-Playing for Internet Players (GRiP), a software package to allow groups to play RPGs over the internet.

  • A second version of GRiP came with a reprint of the Classic Traveller books 1-3 and a special Traveller box.
  • Steve Bryant and Hunter Gordon were never able to get the finalized product to market. Hunter's health failed before it happened.
  • Today (...in 2019 CE) a variety of platforms exist for online play. GRiP, perhaps, happened before its time.
