System Data
There are sixteen worlds in this system.
Mainworld Data
The surface gravity is 0.28 Gs and the atmospheric pressure is 0.4 atmospheres. The metallic core yields a planetary density of 6.13 g/ml. The climate is chilly as the world orbits 14.9 AU from its orange star.

Native Lifeforms
There are native lifeforms present on the surface. VR booths around the starport lounge can be used for remote safaris. Drones packed with sensors, lift off from their service and storage cradles, once the fees are paid and the terms and conditions are accepted. These thickly armored robots fly quickly at NOE, tracking local organisms. While making a slightly accented, running commentary about the beauty and splendor of these organisms, the viewers are treated to fascinating facts about the local, majestic ecology. Aside from some advertisements the whole survey include between 1-6 stops and lasts about 22 minutes.
History & Background / Dossier
A tiny team of human IT directors manage a fleet of service robots and highly automated refuel and repair systems. Most visitors never interact with a human being. You make virtual payments with your network enabled communication devices, service umbilicals attach to the ship upon docking and receipt of berthing fees. Automated communication centers route calls to decision tree queue with long wait times, with horrible hold music. Periodically a sweet sounding voice chimes in to remind you that your call is very important to them, and that a service representative will be right with you. The starport citizen employees, meanwhile float in saline and pH adjusted sensory isolation tanks, plugged into a command and control matrix, viewing all activity in the port with virtual and augmented reality. If a visitor can tear their interest away from the immersive simulation games they play all day, you might get some "human" response. The liaison and cultural protocol androids are very polite and almost life-like. Alittle too perfect, they are loaded with surveillance sensors. Most visitors report that they are kind of creepy. So the merchants passing through, make the delivery, refuel, refit and move on. No one reports meeting the knight in charge in person for years. A secretary takes all his calls.
Imperial High / Landed Nobility
Fuquay, as a member world of the Third Imperium has a member of the Imperial Nobility overseeing the world.
World Starport
Fuquay has a Class A Starport, an excellent quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and other kinds of repair, and construction of both starships and non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.
- The high port is where most ships dock for refueling. Drone cargo shuttles can ferry deliveries to the surface warehouses and automated distribution and provisioning centers. Permission for crew to land is often discouraged. Reasons cited include the need to preserve the natural beauty of this unspoiled world.
- The space station high port, known as the Quay, is largely vacant aside from the fleets of robots. Everything is "smart," hands free, voice activated and on demand. You can do all of your business from a properly equipped hand computer with short range communication, provided you pay for and install the appropriate application, which is included with your docking fees. Fixtures are reinforced to be customer proof to avoid vandalism, which seems to be a common primate response to a lack of social interaction and human contact.
World Technology Level
Fuquay possesses a Technology Level of TL–15 or TL-F in Hexadecimal Notation.
- Common Communication technologies for this TL include: Meson Communicators and Pseudo Reality Communications.
- Common Power Generation technologies for this TL include: Miniature super-batteries, improved collectors, and advanced Fusion+.
- Common Transportation technologies for this TL include:
- Land & Water: Personal G-Tubes and advanced gravcraft.
- Air: Advanced gravcraft and speeders.
- Space: Advanced gravcraft and G-Carriers.
- FTL: Jump Drive-6.
- Every interaction with the cluster of model 9 fibs who run everything, triggers consumer feed back surveys, as all your data on how you enjoyed your service and how you would rate their performance seems of vital importance for some reason. Helpful holograms appear when ever they detect elevated stress levels to inquire if everything is alright and to see if there is anything they can do for you.
World Government
Fuquay has a Captive Government or Colony. The world is ruled by an external government, there is no self-rule. A colony or conquered area. The local government is an oligarchy appointed by, and answerable only to, the external government.
- The human occupied command center is referred to as mother's basement. If anyone tries to find the heavily armored bunker where the natives are, or if visitors tamper with or damage any of the port equipment, deadly enforcement droids are dispatched. These brightly colored robot monsters are armored to Battledress levels, arrive in large numbers and carry High-Energy Weapons equivalent to FGMP-15s with shoals of advanced TAC missiles. Exorbitant fees and fines are immediately deducted from the offenders' accounts, after all you did agree to the terms and conditions when you docked, thin spools of receipts etched on micron thin plastic film emerge from the enforcer droids. At this point you are thanked for your cooperation, escorted to your ship and informed that you are cleared to leave immediately, or else.
World Military
There are no human soldiers stationed here. Imperial marines have deployed security platoons here for short duration missions, they tend to quickly get bored. Intelligent commanders realize the dangers associated with idle marines and most units don't return after one patrol tour if they can help it.
World Economy
The automated starship construction capacities are held in strategic reserve. This is a safe port for military units on their way to or from front lines far away. Stockpiles of reloads and repair parts are pre-staged here in a worst case scenario. Naval contracts are on file and await the unlooked for eventuality.
Trade Data
Self sufficient for most aspects, income is secured from the highest technology starport services available in the subsector.
World Demographics
These employees were hand picked from a strange selection process. A technical skill set with social isolation tendencies were screened for by the Cumber government and assigned here. Only the eventual death of an operator, necessitates the rare, new recruit, a n00b in the local parlance.
World Culture
The "culture" is stagnant and not really very healthy in its outlook and world view.
Urbanization
Human habitation is extremely limited and isolated. The only facilities are associated with starport related customer service functions.
