Frond is a fluid world with an oceanic geography of a liquid other than water such as ammonia, methane, hydrocarbons, or other exotic liquids. The system supports a population of fewer than 10,000 sophonts. It is a client state of Third Imperium in the Cronor Subsector of Spinward Marches Sector.

Astrography & Planetology

While large amounts of silver and rare metals are found on the surface of this methane world, the atmosphere is so hostile that vacc-suit seals are breached within 1.5 hours. As such only smaller, independent belters attempt to work Frond.
