The Grav Belt is a type of Grav Vehicle.

Description / Specifications[edit]

The Grav Belt is a form of gravitic transport designed for individual use.

Hull / Suspension[edit]

A partial body suit constructed from tough synthetic fabrics, with the components stored in sealed pockets located around it. The suit includes a helmet and gloves.

  • Overall Volume: 1.4m³ (0.1 dTons).
  • Unloaded Weight: 35 kg.

The overall volume measures the capacity of the suit. Straps and fasteners allow it to be fitted comfortably around the operators body.

The Grav Belt is fitted with combination miniaturised grav lifters and light grav modules.

  • Maximum Altitude: up to 0.1 planetary diameters.

Power / Transmission[edit]

A single rechargeable power cell.

Performance[edit]

  • Gravitic motion: up to 140 kph.
  • Cruise Speed: 100 kph, Top Speed: 140 kph. NOP Speed: 50 kph.

Crew[edit]

The Grav Belt is worn by the user. The controls are built into the glove include a helmet mounted heads-up display provides data such as velocity, altitude and component status.

There is no internal storage but the operator may carry equipment about their person, typically within packs and bags.

  • Maximum Load: 160 kg (including the operator) before performance is impaired.
