Consumer goods, Manufacturing, Heavy Industry, and Aerospace is a major business sector of the Distant Fringe.

General Overview

Building ground vehicles, aircraft, interface craft, spacecraft, and starships, both for commercial and civilian markets. Tangible (a product you can physically touch) or an intangible (a service of any kind, such as getting the grav-speeder washed or an evening watching a holovid). These goods and commodities that are ultimately used up or acquired by the citizens of the Fringe. They may be referred to as final goods.

There is a certain amount of cross-over with businesses considered to be part of the Defense, Electronics, Communications, and Robotics sector.
