Forums: Index > Watercooler > Where to start?

Greetings all. I have just arrived on the scene here. I jumped right in with some minor edits and cleanup. Then... I thought, hmm? What should I know about this wiki and its community before I go too far and offend another editor.

So what should I know? What meta pages should I read? What do we think is a model of a good page? What might a new editor miss or get wrong?

For a look at what I may have done wrong already see Special:Contributions/Philoserf.
