Vehicle Entries at the Wiki (2019)[edit]
I am working with FFE and the Inner Circle to bring widespread vehicle entries to the wiki. The wiki team and I hope to start entering vehicles into the wiki soon. As the ships library coalesces further, develops towards a finished state, and eventual hits a stable situation, the way has been set for the other libraries:
The big question is how do we do it. Across the various Traveller versions, there has never been a standard vehicle format.
Q1a. Do you have any instructions and preferences for vehicle entries?
Here's what a prototype vehicle entry looks like now:
The current prototype Universal Vehicle Profile (UVP) is based on Striker I and the USP for vessels.
And, thinking ahead, if I know FFE, they'll want an abbreviated universal vehicle profile (uvp), a sort of ThingMaker annotation style, or something can be put on a card like the T5 GenCon AKA Can cards that were distributed...
Q2a. Do would you want us to do that? Abbreviated vehicle stats? Vehicle cards?
