The primary source of known sophonts in the wiki is Don McKinney's Sophont Review worksheet. The final updates are posted in this thread: http://www.travellerrpg.com/CotI/Discuss/showthread.php?t=32269

This spreadsheet, which contains 321 entries, has every (to the best of our knowledge) every sophont, semi-, quasi-, and near-sophont in the Traveller published sources up to 2015. All of these are, when they have an identified location, reflected in the T5 Second Survey data as published by Traveller Map.

In order to make these entries work in the wiki, the article for each sophont must use Template:SophontData, which allows the other templates to find and update other articles correctly. The current list in the wiki is Special:CargoTables/Sophonts, which as of this writing has 141 entries. It is a project on my list, though anyone could if they have the inclination, to create or update the remaining 180 articles for all the known sophonts.
