Forum:People/Personage Names
I am in the process of pulling data out of Stellar Reaches for the various NPCs to start to flesh out Category:People... and I noted that most( 75%+?) appear to be listed as FirstName LastName. Should we consider changes needed to get the wiki show those pages as LastName, FirstName.
I just noticed that Category:Authors has a similar issue.

- The FirstName LastName articles are usually the older person articles. Hans recommended the LastName, FirstName style and added several articles with that style. Wikipedia uses the former for another reference. I have no preference as to which should be used, but you are correct all the articles should be updated to a common style. Well; the way I see it no preference as to which should be used leaves it open (maybe a little too wide) for me to "start" something. Seeing how I have structured the document for LastName,FirstName, that is how things will get posted; see the good Dr. Theodore Krenstein as an example.

- I prefer first then last in an entry name, but alphabetized the opposite.
- As a writer of exposition, we rarely use (last, first). When in a sentence or paragraph, we will most often find (first, last).

That may take a little re-organization, but it is entirely possible. -Ssteve (talk) 12:26, 28 January 2017 (EST)
- If you let me know what is going on, perhaps I can complement your efforts. It's always good to have a teammate and not go it alone.

So, I got a little side-tracked (Cluster), but will get back to people soon. I have figured out how to get First-Last name to show on the header and Last-First name in the category page...
create the page with First-Last... and then {{LEN|Last, First}}
