Forum:New Wiki skins (again)
The fine people at Wikia have decided that their old Quartz skins weren't cool enough and have now come up with a new set of Monaco skins. If you go into your user preferences, you can see the new set of skins, and look through them to see which you like best.
I would like feedback on these skins here for two reasons. First is the Wikia admin are going to alter the default skin for all wikis to be one of these new Monaco skins.
Currently the default skin (style seen by anonymous users) is the Quartz Sapphire.
Second, if we select one of the Monaco skins, I will need to fix the main page, as it doesn't look the same under the Quartz and Monaco skins. And if we start altering the main page, I need to know were to stop. Tjoneslo 14:35, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
- If you want to switch it back, you can via the skin chooser. I don't think that the new skins make that much of an improvement over the quartz ones...but then again, I have been having troubles keeping my widgets. Dcorrin 14:41, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
- Love that Monaco skin the link pointed to. I would rather have a dark page similar to the Monaco skin. My pages I build in HTML usually are black background or have a dark tiled graphics. Just my 2 centi-crimps. Rycharde 01:08, 27 February 2008 (UTC)
