I've decided to stop putting the 'Incomplete article' template into the genealogical articles. Strictly speaking we'll never complete one of those, since the subject is so huge, and it seems wrong to mark something that can't be completed with a tag that says "please complete me". Does this make sense? [[User:Rancke|Rancke]] 15:48, 14 April 2008 (UTC)

: It does. The incomplete should be limited to articles where there is more obviously known information. That is, completing the article should be a matter of a little research and transcription. Not creating a whole chunk of future history.  [[User:Tjoneslo|Tjoneslo]] 16:48, 14 April 2008 (UTC)

Notes (2008)[edit]

I've decided to stop putting the 'Incomplete article' template into the genealogical articles. Strictly speaking we'll never complete one of those, since the subject is so huge, and it seems wrong to mark something that can't be completed with a tag that says "please complete me". Does this make sense? Rancke 15:48, 14 April 2008 (UTC)

It does. The incomplete should be limited to articles where there is more obviously known information. That is, completing the article should be a matter of a little research and transcription. Not creating a whole chunk of future history. Tjoneslo 16:48, 14 April 2008 (UTC)
