Wikia, our fine hosting service, is redesigning the Monaco skin, the layout system. This New Style will force a redesign on our front page (and perhaps others).
Of the several changes will be the addition of an ad space in the upper right corner of every page, including the main page. This will screw up the neatly formatted front page we currently use. Wikia has provided some new tags to help with the layout issues.
We also need a new (or updated) logo, as the current one is being replace with a different sized one.
The Monaco skin also has some very nice dynamic menu's on the left column. I'm thinking of removing the "Major sections" block in favor of moving those items into the menu.
There are also more Customizations that can be added to make the look even more consistent.
So suggestions for ordering of content. The current page design demands two columns (one with the ad space at the top), so we'll be using that format. Is there any new information or different layout you'd like to see?
