The rank of Force Commander (O4) is the commissioned officer rank in the Imperial Marines that commands a Detachment or has duties of similar importance.
Description (Specifications)
Each Detachment in the Imperial Marines larger than a Company will be commanded by a Force Commander. The rank is also used for some administrative posts within a Battalion. Several staff posts at Regiment level (where these exist) or higher are also held by Officers with this rank.
- The equivalent rank in the Imperial Navy is Lieutenant Commander.
- The equivalent rank in the Imperial Army (Ground Force Command) is Major
