The rank of Flying Officer (O2) is the second most junior commissioned officer rank in the Imperial Army COACC and may be the deputy commander of a Flight.

The equivalent rank in the Imperial Navy is Sub-Lieutenant.

The equivalent rank in the Imperial Marines is First Lieutenant.

The equivalent rank in the Imperial Army GFC is First Lieutenant.
