Fennec is a small world located on the L'sis Main, only a few parsecs from the {{sm}}. Much of the planetary economy is built around agriculture, ranching, and forestry. However, virtually every farmer, rancher, and forester on the planet works and lives on land that is owned by someone else. Early in its history, a relatively small group of landowners established almost total control over almost all of the useful land on the planet. Only about one person in three thousand is a landowner (or Graf) and the minimum legal size for an estate is about ten thousand acres.
