Starships are designed with the Classic Traveller format, using High Guard Shipyard v1.13 written by Andrea Vallance. |
The Exile class Yacht is a luxury starship.
- It is a civilian ship and a Yacht.
Description (Specifications)
The lightly armored spherical hull is partially streamlined with scoops and on board fuel purification to allow wilderness refueling of gas giants. The sphere is seen as a symbol of harmony and peace, like a perfect water droplet floating in zero G. The ship has 2 G acceleration, and 2-Agility. The ship is capable of Jump-2, and carries enough internal fuel for two jumps. They are fitted with 28 days of extra power plant fuel and well as another Jump-2 drop tank for increased range when crossing rift zones. These TL–11 craft are fitted with a Model/2 ship computer adjacent to the bridge.
- It carries no weapons, nor hardpoints. The single high passenger is a psionic disciple, they serve as their only protection.
- They deploy a 3.0 dton Air/Raft, as an interface vehicle when orbital port facilities and shuttle service are unavailable. The cargo bay is small for merchant operations.
- The required crew of 4 sophonts consists of a pilot, steward, engineer and medic. Each has a private stateroom to themselves. Doubling up would allow additional passengers.
