Evening Star is a TBD Publisher product.
- It is a source book written for Classic Traveller.
It is a supplement that describes a city devoted to the leisure, arranged inside a hollow and cylindrical asteroid.
Description (Specifications)
The first four pages give some description for campaign integration, its history like its physical description: the interior surface of the cylinder reproduces the landscape of a paradise planet, but the basements conceal many secrets of the First Empire to the underground of the condemned tunnels. The six following pages detail the principal clubs, guilds and political organizations present on the asteroid, as well as the local legal system. A short scenario questions the PCs about the kidnapping of a girl who they were charged to supervise.
The remainder of the work is describes the various important places of the asteroid, shown on the included large chart. A detailed example of PNJ is proposed for each place, and descriptions include the prices of the various provided services. With the occasion, new optional rules or suggestions of scenarios are made.

Meta-history & Background (Dossier)
At the time the supplement was written, in 1979, the context of Traveller was not defined yet, except some allusions to Imperium slipped into Book 4 - Mercenary and others. The context of this supplement thus introduces several elements which will be incompatible with the OTU, like the presence of hyper-technological artifacts of the First Empire (of 300 years ago), a sect of psionic wizards named Klathans, a sect devoted to the intellectual development named the Guild of the Logicians, a group of fanatics of the First Empire named the Red Dresses, the interstellar guilds, etc.
