A non-industrial, agricultural world located in the Kerr Subsector of the Massilia Sector. Ershur is a member of the Imperium. The system contains a Naval Base.

Ershur has the oldest human population in the subsector, having been colonized early in the Vilani expansion. The people are proud of their ancient heritage. They also see their world as a bastion of art and culture. Their museums of art are known throughout the Imperium.

The world also has a large number of financial institutions, including Musizis Pen, LIC, an important investor in the construction of starships.

Ershur boasts breathtaking local scenery, and is a popular tourist goal. The Vilani ruins are a major attraction.
