EoS = End of Service

  • EoC is the year when a craft or vehicle formally leaves operational service with Imperial forces whether in an active, reserve, or even mothball status.

Description (Specifications)

End of Service term is usually referred to as EoS or Sunsetting and refers to a time when the hull or frame is completely retired from service or sold to allies, at least in an official capacity.

A related term is IOC, which is part of the procurement cycle as a new vehicle, ship, or other item goes through initial research, roof of concept, prototyping, and eventually reaches operational status.
