EoS = End of Service
- EoC is the year when a craft or vehicle formally leaves operational service with Imperial forces whether in an active, reserve, or even mothball status.

End of Service term is usually referred to as EoS or Sunsetting.
The IOC is part of the procurement cycle as a new vehicle, ship, or other item goes through initial research, roof of concept, protoyping, and eventually reaches operational status.
