Ekhor is a fluid world with an oceanic geography of a liquid other than water such as ammonia, methane, hydrocarbons, or other exotic liquids. The system has a population between 10,000 and 10 million, lacking the industrial base to be completely self-supporting. The world has a climate with temperatures at the upper range of human endurance. It is a member of Third Imperium in the Zeda Subsector of Dagudashaag Sector and in the Amec Trade Protectorate and the Domain of Vland. Ekhor, as a member world of the Third Imperium, holds the estate of an Imperial knight, a member of the Imperial Nobility charged with overseeing the world. During the Long Night this world was named Aarmar. The Nahuatl name of the world is Xohueotloch.

Ekhor is a member of the Dudin Cluster.

Ekhor is a water world with a single landmass. The atmosphere consists of extremely high carbon dioxide levels which has resulted in a hot planet with a very high level of humidity. Ekhor swarms with plant life but has never developed any native animal life beyond the insect level.

Native Lifeform: Tonuetiuhl Sunflowers

Ekhor's most significant export to date the the Tonuetiuhl Sunflowers; plants which naturally store sunlight (or other light sources), then release a bio-luninous glow during the night. Sunflowers are sold throughout the Imperium for use as secondary lighting, though the company ensures only genetically infertile plants are exported outside the Protectorate.

Sharurshid has a presence on Ekhor for the sustainable production and export of infertile Tonuetiuhl sunflowers throughout the Imperium.

History and background

The only colony is a research station for Feathered Serpent Pharmaceuticals botanical bioengieering department.

Point of Interest: Ekhor Eco-domes

A number of Amec's nobility have built eco-domes to create garden paradises for themselves amidst the hostile jungle wilderness.
