The Durt class Destroyer Escort is a prototype Destroyer Escort was designed and built by the Yimin Jiti, a state in the central-rimward portion of the Halcyon Sector.
Description / Specifications
Built at Narit, the TL–11 craft are fitted with the best computer available, a military grade model 5 fib computer adjacent to the bridge. The sphere hull is partially streamlined with scoops and on board fuel purification to allow wilderness ocean refueling. The ship has a powerful maneuver drive capable of 3 Gs acceleration, and 1 agility. The ship is capable of jump 2, and carries enough internal fuel for a jump 2 with a jump 1 reserve. They are fitted with jump 2 drop tanks for increased range when crossing rifts zones. It carries four triple beam laser turrets, and four triple missile turrets. There are 11 command crew, 2 engineers, 3 gunnery, 5 flight, 2 services, and 87 marines. They deploy a 3 dton Narit Air Raft, as an interface vehicle when orbital port facilities and two 20 ton launches. There is a small hold, which can double as a missile magazine.
