History & Background (Dossier)
An agricultural garden world in the Sword Worlds Subsector of the Spinward Marches, Durendal is tidally locked to its primary, Roland, and orbits at a distance of 0.23 AU. Prior to the Fifth Frontier War Durendal was a member of the Sword Worlds Confederation, but following the war Durendal became part of the Imperial Client state known as the Border Worlds and experienced considerable internal political upheaval.
The naval base is guarded by a squadron of light Sveinhelm Class Assault Carriers.
Durendal rejoined the Sword Worlds in 1116.
