The Dunkle class Fleet Scout is a TL–12 Fleet Scout.

Description

They have Jump-3 range and 6-Gs of acceleration. They have fuel scoops and fuel purification for ocean refueling permitted by their streamlined needle/wedge configuration hull. The have a Model/6 ship computer, but don't have enough room for a fiber optic back up system.

They are armed with a triple beam laser turret, a pair of plasma cannons, and a pair of triple missile turrets. They have enough armor plating to avoid some critical hits on vital systems.

It has a crew of 12.

History & Background

These vessels are organized into over-sized flotillas, each battle squadron in the naval forces of the Mapepire Cluster is provided with these ships.
