The duchy has been in the hands of at least two families: Prior to the Civil War it was held by the Alkhalikois. Today it is held by the Kirgashiis.

First Creation

• Founded in 522 by the Division of the Duchy of Mora
• Passed to the Crown in 666

Second Creation

• To Kirgashiis

Leonard, as subsector duke of Rhylanor, also administers the section of the Aramis subsector known as the Aramis Trace, including Aramis (Spinward Marches 3110) itself.
