Description (Specifications)[edit]

The Dominion of Ruins was an interstellar polity that occupied the major part of the Intersect Cluster. It is considered to be a "Lost Settlement".

The Name "Dominion of Ruins" was given by Commander Sebastian Jannasta, based on evidence discovered during surveys and studies carried out during the Jannasta Expedition.

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]

The Dominion of Ruins was a confederation of smaller polities that expired during the early years of the 49th century, almost seven hundred years ago. Its member states were:

The three states were engaged in internecine warfare before forming an alliance to face the threat of the Bone Worlds.

Origins[edit]

As best as can be determined, the region known as the Intersect Cluster was settled sometime after 2300AD by humans from the Last Armada. The first world to be extensively settled was almost certainly Nevix, in Bourne Sector, with other significant communities located on Leemo, Nahanah, Dhar Luka and Zur Azom. The region developed relatively slowly, with the population climbing into the billions by the 35th century.

Interstellar Period[edit]

As the populations grew and industrial bases expanded small insular states began to form, eventually becoming full interstellar polities. These states held very different views and had a great deal of mutual antipathy.

Conflict Period[edit]

Open warfare broke out between the states circa 4300AD. This on again-off again conflict continued for hundreds of years. The state known as the Bone Worlds remained largely separate from this internecine fighting.
