Decades ago, conflict wracked the Third Imperium, all but extingushing the lights of civilization. One by one, those lights are going out as isolated enclaves of survivors succumb to disaster. Those that remain cling desperately to what little remains of the old Imperium.
For a handful of brave souls, mere survival is not enough.
Instead they reach out across the stars to re-unite the survivors.
The road is hard and dangerous, but the prize is the rebirth of civilization.
For amid the ashes of the Imperium, a phoenix waits.
