Dhon Marine Lift Rifle Battalion

Members of the garrison from Dhon (world) serves on Seich (world) for a four year term before being rotated home.

The Dhon Marine Lift Rifle Battalion, and an elite Protected Forces units composed of 500 marines. These marines are trained in the use of vacuum suits, snub pistols and accelerator rifles. They are also trained for survival on vacuum worlds, Zero-G maneuvers and Zero-G combat. They can deploy on the surface of the moon of Ditter and be used as ship's troops for boarding actions, commando assaults and starport security. The battalion is commanded by a Lieutenant Colonel and is comprised of the following units:

Headquarters and Headquarters Company 100 Marines

Command Post: with 2 Command APC with 2 Officers, SNCO, 13 Enlisted

Medical Platoon: with 1 Battalion Aid Station 4 Doctors, 5 Ambulances with Company Clearing Stations 7 Nurses, 15 Medics with Medical Kits

Maintenance Platoon: with 2 Workshop Sleds, 2 Transports w/40 Vehicle Mechanics/Armorers/Electrical Technicians

Quarter Master Platoon: with 10 Drivers 10 Cargo Sleds

Mess Platoon:with 10 Cooks and 5 Field Kitchens

(4) Mechanized Infantry Companies 400 marines with 1 Command APC, and 9 APCs 20 crew, 80 Dismounts, 1 CP and 3 Platoons with 3 APCs each per company
