County of Arden

The County of Arden didn't exist at the start of the First Frontier War. Arden was not even an Imperial world.

In 604, the County of Chronor was dissolved and the capital moved to the worlds of Querion and Arden. This new county was part of the Duchy of Rhylanor.

The County of Arden survived longer than the County of Querion (created at the same time), being dissolved in the settlement of the Third Frontier War in 986. Unlike the County of Querion, the region became a neutral zone between the Zhodani Consulate and the Imperium. However, Arden never really lost its influence, and this Imperial County was the ultimate foundation of the later Federation of Arden
