Conda Backwater

The Conda Backwater is an astrographic feature primarily located in Daibei Sector.

Description (Specifications)

The Conda Backwater is a trace of five systems located in the Conda Subsector and Iingar Subsectors.

• Four of the trace's five mainworlds are located in the Conda Subsector (Locu, Mossbar, Rendroch and Yarfeg).
• The remaining mainworld is located in the Iingar Subsector (Vaneenoo AKA Corela).

History & Background (Dossier)

The highest population world in the trace, with approximately one hundred thousand inhabitants is Vaneenoo (Iingar Subsector, 2610). The lowest population world in the trace is Yarfeg (Conda Subsector, 2713) with approximately three hundred inhabitants.

For reasons lost in the mists of time this trace earned the reputation as a backwater. As various waves of colonization flowed around it to other systems in the Daibei Sector it remained under developed and under populated. When stellar cartographers arrived in the Daibei Sector as part of Empress Porfiria's First Grand Survey in the 300's, they codified the small trace's unfortunate reputation with it's current unflattering name.
