System Data
Ka’ssha-Ch'kaahi System
The primary is Ka’ssha, an ordinary white main sequence star. It has a luminosity of 8.1 Sols, a mass of 1.7 Sols, and a diameter of 2.366 million km. The inner system consists of (I) a vacuum worldlet, (II) a trace atmosphere inner world, (IV) a corrosive atmosphere inferno world, and (V) a corrosive atmosphere inferno world – orbital position (III) is empty. (VI) Ke'khaa, an exotic atmosphere radworld, orbits within the habitable zone: (Va) Ch'kaahi is its only major moon and is designated the mainworld. (VII) an exotic atmosphere bigworld forms the outer system. Many of the worlds retain satellites.
Ishik-Shirka Subsystem
The companion is Ishik, a dim red main sequence star lying approximately 148 AU (22.1 billion km) from Ka’ssha. It has a luminosity of 0.0025 Sols, a mass of 0.244 Sols, and a diameter of 334,000 km. The far companion is Shirka, a dim red subdwarf star lying approximately 0.15 AU (22.4) from Ishik. It has a luminosity of 0.00006 Sols, a mass of 0.058 Sols, and a diameter of 73,700 km. (I) a vacuum worldlet, and (II) a very thin atmosphere iceworld form the outer system. Neither world retains satellites.
- Ka’ssha, the primary, and the Ishik-Shirka Subsystem orbit a barycenter located at around 26.3 AU (orbital position (XI), 4 billion km). They have an orbital period around one another of 95 years 118 days.
- Ishik and Shirka orbit a barycenter located at around 0.04 AU (orbital position (I), 6 million km). They have an orbital period around one another of 5 days 8 hours.
(VI) Ke'khaa
(VI) Ke'khaa (UWP Y8A3000-0) is designated a radworld. It orbits Ka’ssha at a mean distance of 2.71 AU (406.9 million km), within the habitable zone. It has an orbital period of 3 years 154 days and a rotation period of 33.5 hours. The axial tilt is 23 degrees. Ke'khaa has a diameter of 10,257 km, a density of 6.23 g/cm³, and a surface gravity of 0.91 G. The world is geologically active. Its atmosphere is rated as Exotic, with a mean surface pressure of 2.41 bar and a composition of 92% nitrogen (N2), 6% carbon dioxide (CO2), 1% methane (CH4), and 1% argon (Ar), water vapor (H2O), neon (Ne), xenon (Xe) and other trace gases. The world has relatively high levels of background radiation: emission rates exceed 12 rads per hour. Approximately 27% of the surface is covered in hot seas of water kept fluid by the high atmospheric pressure: average tidal ranges exceed 0.25m. Mean surface temperature: 102°C. The climate is rated as Inferno and experiences moderate seasonal changes during the local year. The atmosphere is very active and powerful weather systems driven by the star and the seas sweep across the globe.
Satellites
Ke'khaa retains two natural satellites, a vacuum worldlet named Cha'aa and Ch’kaahi, designated the mainworld:

- (VIb) Ch’kaahi (designated the mainworld, orbiting at 35 Diameters/360,000 km)

(VIb) Ch’kaahi
(VIb) Ch’kaahi is the only major moon of (VI) Ke'khaa and is designated the mainworld. It orbits its parent world at a mean distance of 35 diameters (360,000 km), with an orbital period of 25 days 2 hours: it is tidally locked to Ke'khaa. The axial tilt is 8 degrees relative to Ke'khaa. Ch'kaahi has a diameter of 9,936 km, a density of 5.93 g/cm³ and a surface gravity of 0.84 G. Tidal stresses created by the gravitational pull of Ke'khaa cause regular geological activity. Ch’kaahi retains an atmosphere rated as Dense, with a surface pressure of 1.85 bar and a composition of 78% nitrogen (N2), 21% oxygen (O2), and 1% argon (Ar), carbon dioxide (CO2), water vapor (H2O), ozone (O3), neon (Ne) and other trace gases. Approximately 41% of the surface is covered in seas of liquid water: average tidal ranges exceed 0.35m. Mean surface temperature: 23°C. The climate is rated as Temperate-Warm and experiences very minor seasonal changes during the local year. The atmosphere is active and powerful weather systems driven by the star and the seas sweep across the globe.
Mainworld Geography & Topography
Total surface area: 310 million km², Land surface area: 183 million km², Water surface area: 127 million km². The surface is dominated by rugged mountains, arid badlands and open desert. The climate is generally warm, with temperatures averaging around 23ºC: temperatures rarely fall below freezing at the poles and can reach uncomfortably high levels around the equator.

Ka’ssha-Ch'kaahi System
Ch’kaahi has extensive, abundant native life, with organisms inhabiting every ecological niche. Their metabolic functions drive the process of atmospheric renewal.
No other world in the subsystem is known to have native life.
Ishik-Shirka Subsystem
No native life is known to exist within the subsystem.
History & Background / Dossier
This system is controlled by the Shikh'aa Faction of the Sath Alliance.
It is the site of the Sa Skah'Sath (the Museum of Sath Cultural History), where exhibits such as the Hiishiiha are on display.
World Starport
Ch'kaahi has a Class B Starport, a good quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and most kinds of repair, and construction of non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.
