Minor Races are those races who are not a Major Race. There are numerous minor races within charted space, and the records of spacefaring races show an even more races beyond. These minor races exist at all levels of technology.

• The distinction between Major and Minor races is usually attributed to the invention of the Jump Drive. However, it is noted by most scholars that each of the Major races controls a multi-sector empire, while the space faring minor races control a subsector or less.
