A major dynasty in the Belt

Description

The Adok Dynasty is a family based in its Merchant history, with in-belt Shipping and Belt exploration having underpinned the rise in its power. It also controls the massive Adok Refineries throughout the New Earth System.

The family has always been excluded from control of the Dark Star Group and the Belter Government, but has sought to influence these groups' members extensively. It has currently managed to gain control of the office of Councillor for the Belt, which has significantly increased the power of the Dynasty. Gaining this power has (it is said by the Media) somewhat destabilised the internal structures of the Dynasty with (too) much of the family power having been concentrated in the hands of Simeon Adok as a result.

It should be noted that the Adok Dynasty was able to benefit substantially during the Taktsang Pirates Campaign with many contracts to the Belter Government. It has also placed a number of its members within the Belter Navy.

Adok Mansion

A cluster of 8 "Trash" asteroids has been linked together and spun to provide the Adok Dynasty with a private Mansion called "Yemenigedi Layi Birihani". It is brightly lit by a series of three massive mirrors.
