Description (Specifications)

Locally built, these ships are a class of sleek, streamlined cone hulls, with thick armored hulls. They are 5 G's quick and agile with Jump-2 range. They are equipped with fuel scoops for ocean refueling but they have no purification refinery. The Model/5 fib ship computer handles fire control, target lock and sensor sweeps.

History & Background (Dossier)

The Buigoon class Destroyer is part of the navy of the Galian Federation. It has a flotilla of twelve of these destroyers stationed at the Gateway (Ga 1220) (world) Naval Base. This design is used as an escort and are dispatched in small groups to handle patrol and border enforcement duties. They are mobile and visible to dissuade piracy and commerce raiding.
