Blass is a preindustrial, agricultural world.
- As an agricultural world, this world is a near-ideal environment for producing quality foodstuffs of plant, animal, and other forms. Quality foodstuffs are a major export commodity for this world.
- As a preindustrial world, this planet cannot yet manufacture enough high-technology resources to support a modern, star-faring society. Having to import many manufactured and high tech goods drives the price up for these items at this world.
- It is a member of the Enlightened in the Utt Subsector of Halcyon Sector, which is part of the Distant Fringe.
- This world-system hosts a Military Base, usually associated with military ground forces, which may be located on or off-world.

System Data
Tremain-Blass System
The primary is Tremain, an ordinary white main sequence star. It has a luminosity of 3.042 Sols, a mass of 1.248 Sols, and a diameter of 1.845 million km. The inner system consists of (I) a trace atmosphere inner world, (II) a vacuum inner world, (III) an exotic atmosphere stormworld, and (IV) a very thin atmosphere hospitable world. (V) Blass orbits within the habitable zone and is designated the mainworld. (VI) a ringed small gas giant, (VII) a ringed small ice giant, (VIII) a sparse rocky planetoid belt, (IX) a ringed large gas giant, (X) a small gas giant, and (XI) a trace atmosphere iceworld form the outer system. Many of the worlds retain satellites.
Mainworld Data
(V) Blass
(V) Blass is designated the mainworld. It orbits Tremain at a mean distance of 1.73 AU (258.8 million km), within the habitable zone. It has an orbital period of X days XX hours and a rotation period of 19.5 hours. The axial tilt is 22 degrees. Blass has a diameter of 11,699 km, a density of 6.35 g/cm³, and a surface gravity of 1.06 G. The world is geologically active. Its atmosphere is rated as Standard, Tainted, with a mean surface pressure of 1.23 bar and a composition of 75% nitrogen, 24% oxygen, and 1% argon, water vapour, carbon dioxide, neon and other trace gases. The atmospheric taint is caused by the high percentage of atmospheric oxygen. Approximately 84% of the surface is covered in oceans of liquid water: average tidal ranges exceed 0.3m. Mean surface temperature: 12°C. The atmosphere is active and powerful weather systems driven by the star and the oceans surge across the globe. The climate is seasonal.
Mainworld geography and topography
Total surface area: 430 million km², Water surface area: 361 million km², Land surface area: 69 million km².
Native lifeforms
Blass has extensive, abundant native life, with organisms inhabiting every ecological niche. Their metabolic functions drive the process of atmospheric renewal.

World starport
Blass has a Class A Starport, an excellent quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and other kinds of repair, and construction of both starships and non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.
- Peace footing (government modifier x0.95). Port Capacity: 76,000 dTons
