Blanor is a barren world with no overt population, government, or law level.
- This world could be populated if anyone had an inclination to do so...
- It is an unclaimed Non-Aligned world located in the Omusa Subsector of Tirell Sector.
- This world is a "Twilight Zone World", a planet that is tidally-locked to its star. It has a hot side that permanently faces the star, a cold side that permanently faces away, and a narrow twilight zone in-between.
Description (Astrography & Planetology)
The Blanor system was officially surveyed by the University of Tal Varisa Deep Sky Program.
- The results of the survey are available as the DSP Listing, a comprehensive star catalog first published in 5550AD.

System Data
The worlds of the system have been remotely surveyed. They consist of:
- The mainworld. It orbits both stars and is tidally locked to their combined mass.
- x6 secondary rocky worlds.
- x1 planetoid belt.
Mainworld Data
Limited data is available about the body nominated as the mainworld. All of the data has been gathered over centuries of remote observation.
Mainworld Size (S)
This world is a Small World between 2,400km and 4,000km in diameter. The world has low gravity between 0.1G and 0.17G. The horizon will appear about 2.5km away.
Mainworld Atmosphere (A)
This world has a pressure of 0.10 to 0.42 atmospheres. The very thin pressures require a respirator or Oxygen Mask this atmosphere also contains an unusual taint such as such as disease, a hazardous gas mix, pollutants, or sulfur compounds which requires the use of a Filter Respirator Combination Mask. Some taints may require more protective equipment. TL–5 or more advanced survival gear is required to settle this world.
Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)
This world has 05-15% of its surface covered by liquid water or ice. Wilderness refueling will be difficult. Water for the inhabitants needs to be imported and extensively recycled. These worlds are Hell Worlds or Poor Worlds depending on their atmosphere.
