Blackmetal is an Imperial private military company founded on 001/1098 by former Imperial Marine officer Sir Edvard Gascon as Blackmetal. The company received widespread notoriety in 1101, when a group of its employees killed 31 Vargr protesters and injured 40 others in Adacia Square, Pandrin City, on Pandrin. for which the company was widely condemned by the general public for such violence vs civillians.

Blackmetal provides security services to the Imperium and other governments on a contractual basis. Since 1103, the group has provided services to the Imperial Intelligence. In 1104 Blackmetal expanded to provide pilots and cargo services.
