A Black Zone is a zone of Wilds or Wildspace, a potentially dangerous, unknown area of Unchartered Space.
- Also astrographic areas or space that were formerly inhabited before an apocalyptic event occurred. Typically the site of ruins or die back worlds, the remnants of societies and civilizations that didn't make it.
