Starships are designed with the Classic Traveller format, using High Guard Shipyard v1.13 written by Andrea Vallance. |
The Black Adder class Destroyer is a light warship.
- It is a military ship and a Destroyer.
Description (Specifications)[edit]
It is also known by its crews as the Glass Hammer because it is little more than a mobile, jump-capable meson gun.
- Its defenses (point defense pulse lasers, a repulsor and a single reinforced layer of bonded superdence armor) are tolerable but far from impressive for a multi-kiloton ship, so the Glass Hammer primary defense is to retreat behind the protection of its single black globe generator whilst waiting for the main armament to recharge.
- It has no subcraft.
- It has a 68 sophont crew and no marines. For all the high tech elements of its design, it is neither especially maneuverable nor particularly comfortable for its 68 crew.
