Editing Biogenesis

[[Biogenesis]] is a biological term for the idea that [[life]] arose from other preexisting life, that organic matter arose from other organic matter.

Life begets life. Biogenesis is a theory accounting for the idea that organic matter may be a natural and possibly original state of matter within the [[universe]].

What is known is that under the ideal conditions, [[life]] invariably arises. The vast majority of this life is very simple and basic, but it is irregardless life. And where life exists, no matter how basic or simple, more complex life will eventually evolve.

And there is a strong tendency that where [[life]] can persist long enough with great enough diversity, intelligent life will arise. The most intelligent of these species are known as [[sophont]]s and learn how to use [[technology]]. And from increasingly sophisticated technology, sophonts create [[civilization]], [[art]] , [[artifact]]s, [[culture]], and [[society]].

Almost every one of the [[major race]]s has a theory for this lack of surety about cosmological genesis. [[Terran]] scientific laypeople used to say: "What came first,the chicken or the egg?" This notion is as valid millenia forward as it was when the saying first was coined.
