The Major Races dominate Charted Space culturally, economically, militarily, scientifically, technologically, and in almost every other method imaginable.

Stateless Vilani or Subtle Vilani State?

While nine in number, the Vilani are a subsumed and conquered people, so some dispute the number and think of them as the Big Eight.

• Their state, the Ziru Sirka, was defeated and conquered by another state, the Terran Confederation, over a thousand years ago.
• However, while most Vilani in 1105 are a part of the Third Imperium, their lack of an official state or polity does not impede them from having an oversize economic and cultural influence.
• The Vilani Bureaux or megacorporations still economically dominate much of interstellar market.
• And the Vilani language and culture are still widespread throughout Charted Space even if hated in many areas.
• Anglic and Vilani are the two most common trade languages or lingua francas throughout Charted Space.
